Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

We are looking at more layoffs

Not sure how many of you looked at the article somebody posted in another thread (https://marketrealist.com/2018/03/juniper-networks-revenues-expected-to-decline-in-fiscal-2018,) but those numbers are really bad.

If their predictions are true, we are looking at many more layoffs once the results are announced, there's zero doubt about that.

Highly unlikely that Juniper will survive till 2019. Founder member and CTO PS quit over 1 year back to create Fungible. Consecutive quarterly hits are going on for at last 6 quarters if not more. In EMEA the new boss selected last July is clear indication of what's coming: in his previous he fired everyone at Brocade in EMEA before Brocade got split up and sold as junk.

On top add random promotions of inexperienced people to management positions, nepotism, pushing out dedicated high-performers, stiff competition from Cisco and Arista in Enterprise and DC, malfunctioning Contrail BU which is s---ing out funds but not generating ANY business, lost customer confidence in Security solutions ....the list goes on. There are a number of people higher up hanging around for stock options, some so-call managers and Sr. Mnagares kissing a$$es and fudging numbers hoping to get a grade up. Upper management knows everything but does nothing to fix it. Why?!

Because they no know this boat is going down. No point in fixing it.
