Heard that a lot of strung fiber is damaged, can we get some statistics?

Non of the fiber that I have dealt with was bad due to construction. Yes it’s not run as neat at a lineman runs it. The issues I’ve seen have been issues with the non trained fiber techs doing crappy splices and their neatness. Everyone is a fiber tech, we are all the same
TO tech66 Ok I miss the E in tape. And what’s your point you just mad about the union. Because you like to drink COOL AID.
It's poor craftsmanship because no one in FTTH is a lineman. A real lineman not a dumb a-- walking around with his hat sideways like a gangstah.

He was saying TAPE the "E" didnt get typed out so it came out TAP

You don’t even belong on this board if you are referring to a rf tap as an electric tap . Who are you a union stoker a, a spreader of dissent , a cancer in the work place or just someone who is bored . Dont get me wrong I am not a company guy anymore if a union gets in it gets in . But dont write on this board if you never spent time on a ladder
Low end techs doing the work STOP using electric tap to hold the fiber, its failing apart
sounds like this fiber build won't be finished until 2028... wonder how many in-house techs will be left on the payroll by then.
EXACTLY!!!!! it fails due to workmanship. Let me guess????? Fiber is failing, we need a union!!!!
Nope I have worked in ftth since the beginning and the only real issues we have found while testing have been workmanship , at least that’s the case on Long Island . Although the only reason the workmanship is so bad is because the powers that be believe you can rush and put up numbers and still have quality work .
