I'm a reporter with The Wall Street Journal. If anyone has stories to share about misconduct at Aflac, I'd be very interested to hear them. You can email me at nicole.friedman@wsj.com.

Come on down to Columbus, GA Ms. Friedman. I'm positive if you did, people would be willing to meet in person to talk at an undisclosed location. You'd be amazed to see how Aflac pays a ton of money to keep the illegal and unethical acts out of the news...especially the news station directly across the street from Aflac HQ
Hi everyone, Nicole from WSJ here. We work very hard to protect sources. You can text me securely using the Signal app at 917-856-8714. I'm especially interested in hearing from people who work at corporate HQ. Thanks!
It's all absolutely true. Retaliation and discrimination are rampant...most of the retaliation is very subtle to make you think otherwise. The Aflac HR department is a friggin joke. They bury all the illegal acts brought to their attention about leadership. I've seen it firsthand.
If multiple people share similar experiences, it will be impossible to identify a singular person. We all know how this “ethical” company retaliates...so unfortunately we don’t have a right to be individuals and be protected from retaliation. It will take all of us.
Nicole.friedman keep digging!!! Maybe you can post again explaining how people can ensure they will be anonymous. Many people would love to talk but fear retaliation, including myself.
One day pay is intentionally misleading and the reports to show days to pay are completely manipulated.
The NDA's are true. There are so many employees right now that are on the "NDA Chopping Block" and will find themselves later this year without hope. After the EAW dust settles, you may have the conversation that your job is being eliminated, or "may" be, and that you need to start working on your resume and applying to other roles. There, you will be applicant number 100 in a role that will only select one. And if you think you have a chance, you are lying to yourself. These things are just another mirage in front of you. They know who they want, and who they will be saying bye to. But, in the name of "ethical company" they will say they gave you the same chance as everyone else.
Aflac tells you "Transformation" but really say "Cutting the Fat" in closed door meetings. It is true. No exaggerating the facts here. The biggest "Transformation" will be eliminating FTE positions. Outsourcing a large chunk of call center, policy, HR, and increasing the all ready top heavy Executive pay. Aflac conditioned you to be oblivious, buying into the 2020 plan. Congrats! You essentially have a hand in cutting your cube-mates job, and more than likely, your own!
nicole.friedman@wsj.com, I am thankful you are digging into this and hopeful you will expose Aflac for their many illegal and unethical actions. Although several of the complaints recently brought forward by Aflac sales agents may be valid, the fact is that all Aflac sales agents are independent brokers, not employees of the company as they claim to be. Those who are familiar with Aflac’s most egregious SEC and DOL violations work at corporate headquarters as actual employees. They are typically forced into NDA and may be unwilling to share information with you for this reason. I hope you find some brave individuals who are willing to violate the NDA so the world may finally learn the truth about this company.
Misconduct- like saying naughty or little transgression. If this is how Aflac executives were to be described , you would be so far off the mark just as if you said “ little misunderstanding” with Larry Nassar, MSU and the acts committed on his victims. You need not look much further than those people who have been around since the early days. The Truth Shall Prevail. Psalm 23:5
