Houston. Severance wasn't too bad. Since it was end of month they offered additional money for Cobra for April since regular benefits end the 31st. Payment for unused PTO. 2 weeks standard severance for less than 10 years service or 4 weeks for more than 10 years or standard severance plus additional ~1 week per year of employment if you sign the "do not sue" form, which you have 45 days to consult with an attorney before signing and mailing at your discretion. Package went over regulatory details regarding discrimination (didn't see anything regarding WARN though) and details for applying for unemployment benefits. We've essentially had 3+ years to prepare for this.

Hell yea.

Pay college grad. 50k. Save 100k. Per person.

Simple economics. Time to learn while it's slow.
