I’m hearing there will be a decision made on National Retail by this Friday for lay offs. It’s funny that they laid off people on the indirect channel and not NR yet. I’m curious if anyone else has heard this.

NR will be the impacted, my source has confirmed teams will be gone in weeks. Indirect as a whole will be 3rd party. Other carriers did this year's ago actually starting with TMO. Then AT&T followed after. Funny cause AT&T has internal employees run franchise dealers and Cricket Wireless. NR though has been outsourced for a long time. Same will happen here folk, I wish you all the best.
Layoffs first. After they would said job creators. Yes after dropping 30k good paying corporate jobs hire low paying retail, 3rd party and call center type jobs. That’s creating jobs. They must think the employees are stupid to believe all that.
Merger is the end of us :(
Where did you hear this rumor that NR will be sourced to 3rd party?!
yes end of april all nr will be surplus to outside 3rd party labor
Any rumors for NR layoff?
What region are you from ? Also thanks for information
What region is everyone hearing these rumors from?
seems like NR is the channel that has been left in the dark the most in the recent weeks. This is highly unsettling. supposedly in my region we are to find out tomorrow morning what our fate is. Among the restructuring and re org of leadership... not sure if some are to be let go or not really. very bad relays of info.
Yep, confusing as hell.
Nobody knows where we'll be a year from now.
Super unstable.
Confusing messages is an understatement
Thanks. Yea I work in NR and was told this by a reputable source but with the mixed messages it’s hard to say what will happen. I believe NR will be affected too. Just have to see how bad of at all. Please post if you hear something. My source doesn’t work in NR.
This rumor has been around for a while now. They are sending us confusing messages and we know they want to improve retail overall. At the same time, things that are integrated and top heavy are being attacked and folks are being sacked - so, this leads me to believe that National Retail will be impacted.
Unfortunately, we'll have to wait and see what happens. I know a couple of folks that work there and will post if I hear something, for now it's a wait and see game
