Am I paranoid or did I notice packing boxes being transported discreetly (surprised a worker bee in the parking garage) and the "NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC" rope-off signs being situated? Please tell me it was a surprise party for someone after hours.

Not lies - I was told that this weekend, the rotunda will NOT be open to the public because they are going to install some type of paper that will cover the windows so people cannot see inside. I'm new, but I would think this is construction related. My source didn't say what type of construction was to take place.
