Agreed. If you don't want to read about what people are posting on this site then f-off...No one cares anymore what you are preaching if you are a manager coming on here griping about sooo called "fear mongerers". Get a clue....move on and stop wasting everybody's time...
You know your ignorant when you complain about employees talking about layoffs on a website dedicated to nothing other then talking about layoffs.
You keep saying DST does not care about their employees, well no sh-- Sherlock, no company truly cares about their employees as much as they do profit. That being said, all of you only care about money as well. Not one of you would show up and work for free because you love your company so much. Quit fear mongering about layoffs. Yes, layoffs happen, they happen at every company. Usually companies use this excuse to layoff the "problem" employees. So if you're a sh-- stirrer at work, be prepared to get cut. If not, carry on. If you're so afraid of getting laid off, find another job. All you fear mongering idiots on here are the ones that should get laid off. You seem to delight in the layoff process. Layoffs are part of life, if you feel like you're going to get laid off, then either accept it or move on already. But posting about how you know this and you know that only reassures me that you're no doubt the village idiot at your job at DST. Life has never been fair, if you see a storm on the horizon, have a plan. DST owes you nothing. Be thankful you have a job and maybe you will valued more.
I so agree with your statements. DST will Layoff, Don't know when, but it will happen. Don't be surprised when it occurs. I hope everyone is prepared the best they can. Those saying it's not going to happen, are either Managers who have been told to say that, or others who think they will be protected. Either way, buckle down and wait.
All you people on here saying they won't happen are just fooling yourself. The number count is accurate. Have heard that from various sources. May not all be at one time but will be spread out overtime. This has been the reoccurring statement on here from several people on this board and off. Its not so much a question of how many just a question of when. SSNC has said they wanted to keep groups and not sell off units. But if you seriously think they will keep everyone, yeah right. DST has also proven time and time again they do not truly care about their employees and is all about the money. They will do everything in their power to make sure this deal happens. If no layoffs happen great, awesome. But don't hold your breath and try to think everything is all "hunky dory". As DST has proven time and time again they don't truly care about "their" people anymore. Just the ones in the manglements close inner circle.
This week ends with quarter-end. Layoffs would not be likely.
