I have been with the company through many layoffs and this one seems to be the most secretive of all. There is no communication and no transparency on what is happening. It seems like there is a ninja team of folks cutting people quietly out of the company. I guess they are trying to avoid the press? Just very strange.

I doubt if its just 500, we are seeing large number of people being laid-off right beside us and we just got news this morning that there are few more cuts in coming weeks too in IT!!

At this rate Sprint will be small enough to be gobbled up by T-mobile another provider or call it quits. I doubt alot of talented people will want to work for Sprint in this economy to help them get out of there hole .Continuing trying to free up cash though layoff does not seem to work as they will probaley continue to stay in 4th place and dive futher down. I give Sprint 5 years.
I think anyone that hasn’t been cut yet is probably safe. They needed to get everyone out before the start of the fiscal year, which is why it’s been a bloodbath the past couple of weeks. Right?
I agree. This has been one of the most left in the dark re-orgs I’ve ever been through. Seems like everyone around is very confused then out of nowhere we discover people have been let go or things have been changed. Not sure why the lack of transparency...
Right? It feels like we’re all operating on an island. No news coverage. And the warn notice on record only accounts for 100-some layoffs. This is much larger.
