How about Solar causes Global Warming?

Doesn't solar cause global warming? It keeps the sunlight on earth that would otherwise reflect back to space, When the electricity is used from that solar power, it heats the earth. No more solar power!

Okay. Just some info here. I've worked in a variety of industries. One thing I do know is the manufacturers of these cars, solar, wind. All use fossil fuels. To top that, research how much oil these green energy devices use. A wind turbine, solar panel, etc. It's not that much better than you think. Plus think about all the semi trucking these products and material to make them. Come on people, use that brain and think, don't just look at the surface picture

Careful with drinking Pepsi near a computer. It can have disastrous results. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, google “the Pepsi syndrome”.

Polysilicon for solar panels requires vast amounts of electricity to manufacture, so it offsets the energy used to get oil from the ground to the gas tank. No more solar power! No more wind power! No more tax breaks for either!

The CO2 level has not increased, so solar makes it worse. Solar cannot power a car. so it just adds needlessly to warming the earth. Fossil fuels have to be used regardless.

relative global warming is mainly due to relative increase in CO2 level, solar is at electron level, hence much more efficient and environment friendly than fossil fuels, and fossil sounds like a dirty to word to me nowadays!

Well wind drag on the earth results in friction heating of the earth's surface. So wind power slowing down the wind velocity converts wind energy into usable electricity while reducing friction heating of the earth's surface. So wind turbines should result in global cooling! Having said that, a warmer earth surface should make it a more efficient radiator (back into space) of stored heat so, from that perspective, wind power is not good. Now look at fossil fuels (oil). To artificially life oil to the surface, about 50% or more of the energy requirement is lost to inefficiency. Once at the surface, that oil has to be piped, shipped, trucked, etc to a refinery for processing which also takes energy. The refining process itself is also inefficient so, to get that gallon of gasoline to your local 7-11 for you to put in your car is more than a 90% total energy loss. So even if 10% energy remains, only about 5% of that will result in your car tires heating the pavement. For all that energy required, only a small percentage results in hot tires. So more cars could lead to an ice age if we continue to use fossil fuels! Wind energy is the only thing that can save the planet from freezing! You seez I can make me up some science too.
