Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Clueless managers

I have been with the company over 20 years and I have never seen moral this low. Some managers are taking away coffee makers, and I heard through the “ pipe line “ that others are letting their reports enjoy 100 % personal use of company vehicles. This was once a great company but enbridge has put a dagger in my heart. If I wasn’t so close to retirement I would be looking elsewhere.

Here we have employees taking PTO without putting it in the system. Where is the integrity in that? Managers are fully aware of it to. ENBRIDGE IS A JOKE & THE POOR MANAGEMENT IS TAKING THIS COMPANY DOWN!!

I was stunned by the recent Yammer conversation - it turns out the ELT actually didn't know how bad things were in the rank-and-file. Not that they didn't care, but they ACTUALLY didn't know. Incredible!

Now they're going through the same bull**** that we've seen 5 or 6 times before in the last 5 years, asking employees why they're unhappy, focus groups, blah blah. If you're running these focus groups, ,beware: anybody who runs focus groups on employee morale tends to get let go in the next round.

The only lens utilized by the ELT of both companies was greed.

It’s sad that current circumstances make a mockery of Enbridge’s so-called “values”: Safety, Integrity and Respect.

So much of what goes on now completely contradicts the meaning of those words.

I just wish the Spectra deal had been evaluated through the lens of those values. Had it been, we would have all been spared a great deal of grief and suffering.
