and Hooley has thrown in the towel. Kind of like selling a car you haven't maintained, thinking that as long as it has oil and the tires are up it will last forever!, and now those years of neglect, have resulted in a complete overhaul, do you overhaul it or sell off the parts?
I tend to think McDonnell and co. realized they sat on their hands fat dumb and happy with AWD saw the overhaul coming, and decided to step away and make it someone else's problem. Hooley tried to hire "mechanics" that all they know how to do is replace parts, car won't start, put a new battery in, still won't start, oh put a new starter/alternator in, still won't start...hmmm...new plugs that'll do it...still wont start, hmm must be a fuse/electrical problem, check the wiring diagram. Never once bothering to check if there's fuel in the tank. When I say 'fuel' I mean the people the 'worker bees' over and over we've all heard that we're the ones that make this company work, and yet over and over paltry to no merit increases...tax cuts resulting in bonus' to the associates at OTHER co.s not one dime here, had to finance all those golden parachutes you know. ;) Why do I stay? Hell who's gonna hire a 56 year old white guy? LOL Besides if I get laid off RIF'ed whatever...I was looking for a job when I found this one.
