Does anyone have any idea if the bleeding from the job cuts will slow down at all ? Nothing but bad news week after week with people losing their jobs.

Certainly it is not the fault of new workers coming in to ADP that they cannot do the jobs that the experienced employees who were thrown out could do. These new employees are just as intelligent as the ones that they replaced.
However, there is a problem. It takes YEARS for a new employee to become truly productive due to the complexity of ADP s systems. Before ADP s massive layoffs started, new employees coming into the company could learn the ropes easier by seeking help from veteran employees. The office environments were very friendly and people were willing to help each other.
But now, with the majority of the experienced, veteran employees out the door, the new employees coming into the company have no one to turn to for help. They must figure things out on their own. With so many newbies being not productive and unable to properly assist clients, that learning curve is now even longer. Meanwhile, clients are getting angrier, and are not understanding why a bunch of incompetents have been assigned to them who cannot help them resolve their issues. The new employees are getting frustrated that they cannot learn the new systems quickly. Many are giving up, quitting, and going to greener pastures. New employees are being hired to replace them, are encountering the same problems, and also quitting. It is now a revolving door where the employees are quitting and never become productive. Meanwhile, the clients continue to wonder why they are serviced by incompetents.
There is another problem which facilitates the newer employees making the decision to quit rather than to stick it out and try to be productive. The experienced and veteran employees were let go because ADP thought that they were "making too much money". The newer employees now make about a third of what the experienced ones were. So with such low wages and such high work complexity, it is easy for a new employee to make the decision to get another job for the same, or even more, amount of money doing far less complicated work and having a life working only 40 hours a week.
ADP made a major mistake in trying to replace its experienced workforce with cheap, unproven workers too fast. This should have been done slowly over a period of many years so that the knowledge base of the company remained intact as new workers become proficient under the guidance of the experienced ones. ADP gutted its knowledge base and is now paying the price in lost credibility, lost client respect, loss of clients, and deteriorating revenue. ADP s competitors are picking up the clients that are leaving ADP. What incredible blindness and stupidity of ADP s top management in creating this situation.
I'm sure that anyone hired to replace those that are laid off are capable of learning the same things those termintaed employees learned in order to do their job properly. With everything there is a learning curve. It is tough to be laid off or know those that have been but it is not the fault of those that were hired in their place.
The "COE" in Maitland, we have had issues with reports coming out of that office. On a daily basis. Another example of laying off experienced employees which are replaced by low wages and no experience.
margaret, there was a sales meeting this week that basically said less headcount and more tools. Sales ops is now a COE in Maitland. Hired 24 new people so guessing 24 people gone in sales ops. Probably the high paid and homeshored.
Has anyone heard about SBS, Majors or Nationals homeshored reps being let go this year?
Inside sales next
Contact the President.... he claims that he is creating SO Many jobs.
The layoffs won’t stop till all the tenure employees & the homeshored employees are gone
Imagine how difficult of a job it is right now to be a sales rep with ADP. A lot of customers do not like the fact that every few months they lose thier contact person with ADP because they are being let go. How can you sell when there is no stability within the company.
They have a High Turnover of Sales Rep's and they are being hired all the time....
Is anyone aware if they are laying off sales reps as well?
It's started on 2011.
Exactly....but this has been in the works for more than a few years. Back in 2011/2012 with the new CEO there were rumors in Corp Roseland , NJ that the veteran workers were history and ADP was turning over its older workforce but it had to been done without legal problems of age discrimination. Little by little ADP started to layoff older experienced loyal workers but it was moving too slow. That's why the Early Retirement package was offered on March 15th thru May 1st. ADP use to be a great company.....now it's an sad joke.... cannot think of all the people who lives and families that have been effected in a very bad way.
ADPs aim is to eliminate its experienced, well-compensated work force and replace it with new, inexperienced employees that make far less money. This employee replacement scheme has been going on for a couple of years now. If you are a veteran ADP associate with quite a few years of experience, expect to get laid off or fired soon. The layoffs should continue a few more months until most or all of the old guard who are "making too much money" are eliminated.
