Mother of all layoffs will take place over a 3 month (May/June/July) period
Up to 32% of FTE and contractors will be cut over a 3 month period.. DE wants to slim down. All L2 mgrs and their directors have been instructed to provide an excel spreadsheet of individuals to be cut. Some teams will be completely obliterated.
If your mgr or dir stops saying hi to you, that's a tell tale sign that you are on the list. Some of the planning will take place offsite to avoid tipping off the "victims".
There are 18 new jobs listed on the website.

I have no answers. But if 32% is an actual target, then there has to be a sell of a major BU with many staff going. Your guess is as good as mine. It's just a matter of what brings the best return.
If even 10% of these posts are true I'm glad I got my walking papers in the beginning and now have a job outside the oil business. Can't imagine the stress of trying to find a job with so many unemployed...best of luck.
If you cut out the layers between the decision makers and the people doing actual work, 50% would be shown the door. Let’s get it done and get back to work.
