Accused of theft - Kmart Araminogo Avenue Philadelphia

I've worked for Kmart for years and now I'm being wrongly accused of theft at my store on Aramingo Avenue Philadelphia.

Stores closing soon, I don't know if I should fight it and get my severance or just walk.

Hate this place.

What is so wrong? Is it an individual till that is short or a service desk one?

I don't work in the cash office. But I do handle cash at the front end. This is so wrong.

I've worked in the cash office before. There isn't always direct evidence. Your drawer was probably just very short and they couldn't figure out where the shortage came from, so the usual explanation is someone took it.

They're saying it looks like I stole cash.

If I stole money, and theres evidence, then I'd be fired right?
