People like you reallllyy are the ones who need to wake up. It doesn't matter how much effort you put into your job. You can be a "rockstar" in your eyes one week then get sh!t canned the next. They can lay you off no matter who you are, or how hard you think you work. If you are on vacation, or in the office, or on medical leave. They DO NOT CARE! Have seen that happened to several people I knew during the last few years of their annual layoff crap. They will lay you off whenever they feel like it to meet their "Business monetary needs". Best you can do is continue on "Business as usual" as they claim and wish for thr best.

folks, there's no layoffs. you may get laid off at sometime if your boss hates you, but no big layoffs. Just a few will be laid off here and there for poor performance and bad attitudes.
Well, it's DST, so people will complain about a few things:
Horrible management, particularly in leadership.
Low pay.
Laughably low merit raises.
Lost vacation days and benefits.
Understaffed teams, especially on the technical side.
Inability to service clients effectively, thanks to sh--ty budgeting and lack of resources.
It's DST. Arguably, it's worse for the people who don't get laid off. You, certainly a manager judging by the smug tone, probably tell your team they have to 'do more with less' even as you give them a 2% raise owing to your inability to budget.
I heard he quit but getting conflicting on that..

Personally I’m not scared or afraid, I thank your an a$$. Probably a manager. I think your lack of caring an compassion with your smart mouth needs a good ole fashion butt kickin. But your the type that wouldn’t show up! Let people feel how they feel and shut your mouth.
