Thread regarding ADP layoffs

ADP plan has been in place for awhile

The plan to close all but a few offices was announced a few years ago. The part that was not clear at that time was the homeshored positions would also be discontinued.

ADP s home shored program is no longer popular with ADP s management and is on its way out. The current model is to have associates work at the new supercenters where they can be watched over to make sure they are working properly.

There are some older posts here that discuss this, so please read them to get that information.

If you are a home shored associate with quite a few years of working for ADP, there is a very high probability that you will be laid off soon.

As a home-shored associate, I would love to hear more about whether ADP is ending the home-shore program. I hear only rumors, nothing official.

Taking the Early Retirement Package, take the $$ and run!!! Face it, if it was offered and you don't take it, you'll get laid off and the standard Layoff Package.

Town Hall meeting with Carlos clearly indicates these terminations are not going to end soon, honestly it seems they will keep this up as long as they need to in order to assure their stock price do not take a dip.

I could only find a IT job if I moved out of state or worked in NYC. I work in retail now, low wage, nasty customers. It took me 4 months to find it.......I had to short sale my home.....you would not believe the health care costs either! Not a fun 6 years.....thank you ADP.

I agree with everything you have stated. It really is unbelievable. I am taking the retirement package option this week and I too have had over 20+ years at ADP. May I ask how long it took you to find another job? What has been your experience?

When I was let go in June of 2012 after 22 years of service I was told by ADP 'insider' from HR in Roseland, NJ ....that this was just a beginning of the entire work force turnover. This was told to me 6 months after I was let go when I accidentally ran into her in a shopping mall. She was good friends with my wife at the time......I ignored it at the time because I so upset about me losing my job. She was 100% on the mark......laying people off was going too slow.....now it's an Early Retirement package , offices closing all over the country, and big layoffs this week (3/15/18)......many of the folks where there 25 -30 years and even some longer......ADP is a sham, not the company I use to work for. I'm ashamed to even once being associated with ADP.....it has ruined so many families.
