Siemens Industry, which makes controls and automated systems, said it expects to lay off 200 people at a West Chicago facility. Those employees were notified Feb. 8, according to the filing, and the layoffs are planned for the last two weeks of April.
At my Siemens facility, they have hired thick layers of diversity. The only goal seems to be to cheerfully make sure that northern European engineering is not occurring at Siemens. And that Siemens coffers are emptied. Why stockholders do not sue is a wonder.
How do you lay off the dead weight without looking racist, s-xist, and homophobic? A conundrum.
No WARN notices yet for Mount Vernon or Wellsville, Or at least i can't find them on line. Will they wait til after effects bargaining to submit it? I wouldnt think so.
