All three business units are separate now. Retail and SBA can go to different buyers. Its a PE model for selling the pieces because separate they are worth more than the whole. Imagine selling SBA to Wal-mart, Retail to Amazon for an automatic store front operation across the country. Agreed, OD is out as a viable option. The parts have to take on a different function. Remember FEDEX/KinKo printing, slowly it is now just FEDEX, no Kinkos. They don't need to, nor is it smart to, Firesale it. Cut overhead, get rid of redundancy or non-billable departments, reduce headcount, increase profitability in the short term and show viability, then sell the parts.
PEs and especially SP are not smart enough or stupid enough to function outside of a formula that has worked in the past.
