Today a bunch of people were let go in WCC Bay Area and San Diego including a person I was working with very closely. I don’t know the exact numbers or the percentage. But it came to me as a shock because WCC is very lean and actually understaffed. It looks like they are targeting ICB6 and higher.

Yes they do. Check out the APB bonus plan for 2018. They still use ICB# to show the target for each grade level.
No not an outsider but the icb numbers have not been relevant to me. Am a principal and think I was a 5 last time I checked. I don't think they use icb any more.

You work at Broadcom and don’t know what ICB6 is?! It’s the grade level with 8 AKA Fellow being the highest.
