Rumors are going around now about a soon to be announced acquisition of Akers Bioscience, another NJ based company. Has anyone else also heard this?

I hear from a colleague that astra Zeneca have also been snooping around having meetings - could be multiple interested parties in this company
in fact i wager that everyone who has and will post here is also from Stock Twits, no Becton people here at all

Do you have aker shares as you know it’s happening?
It is coming any day. Upper management has been in meetings everyday last week and almost entirely unreachable. In addition, you can see them parading the new senior leaders around showing everything. There is an air about it within the company and you can just tell it’s about to be released. If i had to guess it happens by the end of the week at the latest, but I’m thinking Tuesday based on conversations.l with my director. I’m hoping with all the product overlap there is not huge layoffs. Good luck all.

There is zero coverage in the media, and the only rumor is right here on layoffs.com - that's all puzzling. A well guarded secret, yet exposed here.
