After profitable 2017, Altice USA hikes Optimum prices
"Altice USA is hiking cable TV prices as of the June billing period, covering everything from installation fees it charges new customers to the surcharges it tacks on monthly for broadcast channels and other programming."
"Altice USA is enacting nine new rates or fees for new or existing customers in its Connecticut territories that extend along the coast from Greenwich to M---ord and just inland, along with a cluster of towns in Litchfield County, notifying customers in May billing statements. Basic tier subscribers who currently pay $14.95 a month will see a dollar increase starting next month, with Altice having indicated last year that it would lift basic rates in phases to match the $19.99 rate it charges new customers today."

Ponzi scheme money grab before it gets exposed. Thinking they're model was revolutionary and going to be followed makes me laugh. Stock hit it's lowest today. Those lawsuits and exposure already getting to them. Panic mode in effect. Time to come up with a new product or service as a distraction.
