The more time that goes by, I hope they just let us stay how we are, and WE just fix what we need to fix and get better. Keep our jobs and let us work on the business. There's been so many distractions I can't imagine anyone would want to take this over. We can improve operations by not all the looking over our shoulder figuring and asking "ok what now". Keeping head up and hope we have a company to come work for in the next month.

Vintage Capital and Buddy's Rentals will be the new owners. No more stock...private ownership. The bad news for some of us...

Buddy's has no interest in keeping Anow. They just want the brick and mortar RTO locations

Selling a company is a long and complex process. Preparing for a sales process takes at least 12 months, and then the actual process itself can take another 12 months. If you think of selling your business as something similar to a very long multi-year enterprise sales cycle, you'll begin to realize that a business sales process is like any other sale process in that it can be broken down into its core component stages and elements.

Tell that to the multiple employees being laid off in core RTO stores. Tenured employees at that...

What is the all hands meeting about? When was it originally scheduled?

Even if we get bought out, does it really matter anyway for the FSC? It be a long process to fire and start over from scratch. Yea, a few upper management ppl might get the axe but I'm sure this isn't going to change much for the normal Joe's. After so many layoffs they had this year, we'Re pretty lean as it is.

For those who don't think "getting bought doesn't mean you won't get a new address' please wake up. The whole deal won't work and no one can buy them unless they sack a ton of corporate expense. Read the word "synergies" that have been said by your senior management and potential buyers. Please Please don't be misled - there will be nothing left for you. Get out while the DFW area is still growing jobs.

Who cares who the buyer is - what is important is we can still have job. To leave or to stay is a personal decision.

Speese buying out a company he left - Hmm...??? I don’t think it’s like a short-sale of a home. That was funny though.

Someone posted on another board that Speese is a potential winning candidate to buyout the company. Wouldn’t that be an unexpected outcome? Doubt there’s any truth to it, but someone threw it out there.

Vintage is an investor - if you will check their profile - the companies under their umbrella have their own corporate offices.

Is this true? If so, when will they let employees know?

Time will tell?!? Ha! As if enough hasn’t been wasted already. If you’re a lower level employee please spare yourself and begin investing in yourself. Do NOT put your fate in the hands of this company any longer. Clearly it’s a business with no moral cultural background embedded. There are many companies willing to hire an educated or skilled employee. Not many skilled or educated employees (lower/upper level) at that company, but for those who are, please run as fast as you can. They will s--- your life soul from you, and I mean that in the most literal and figurative ways. Oh, and customers are being told ‘the process’. Collections are really about to be high as a giraffe’s @ss.
