Local Campus Community Sites Taken Down

The local DVU campus “community” websites have been taken down. A lot of the information was out of date anyway, but seems like an opening bid for a new round of consolidations and cutting. There are only a handful of faculty who have profiles on the main site now

Wow - most campuses with the new website has almost all degrees online for Master’s courses and 4 undergrad disciplines. Associate business degree online only everywhere which lead to an all online school in 2 years. Massive re- organization coming soon.

No. It used to be that if you went to:

www.somestate.devry.edu

(Like www.ca.devry.edu for California), you would find tons of actual information about the local campus, faculty, staff, etc. It was called a campus community page.

Then they sent those links directly to the main website info page for that state, but you could still get to all the info by clicking Information For Current Students.

Now all of that deeper information is completely gone and only the shell page is left on the main website. The old direct links to the info just were redirected to the shell page. So yes, technically there is still a shell page but all of the deeper info is gone. Like who the faculty are at that location. This seems to be a direct preface to restructuring.

Any remaining campus has a "community" page--however, one that I looked at no longer has a DeVry sign or identifier on the image of the building....
