Ok, just look at the 1 year stock chart, comparing CLR vs DVN. That says it all. Continental making steady gains, while Devon has peaks and valleys. Continental is lean and mean. Where Devon was 10 years ago. Continental still has their founding executive. Still hungry.

Don’t forget they put the SCOOP together. I remember those days at Devon late 2010-2012 many people said that play can’t work. Well Devon what happened to the Cline Shale?
They buy into proven oil fields and claim that they discovered them.
CLR stumbled upon and capitalized one of the largest oil fields in the US, Devon buys into proven fields... no true wild cat mentality.
