Thread regarding NEOS GeoSolutions layoffs

Shame on this forum and former employees

Recently, a former employee (and frequent poster on this website, given the matching writing style) impersonated a current NEOS employee by opening a fake email account with a variant of their name and proceeded to send a derisive and inflammatory email to the CFO This goes beyond unprofessional and would be grounds for legal action were it not for the anonymity and callousness toward others that blogs like this engender. Shame on the person who wrote that email, and shame on the incendiary language fostered here. It directly hurts real people (who go about their work quietly and professionally therefore don't deserve this kind of abuse), their careers, and their families.

as charges of fraud ip theft corporate espionage and conspiracy are leveled against former neos executive chairmen jonathan faiman where is mr supposedly loyal?? kinda hard to claim management was doing a quiet and professional job when they now stand accused of these crimes so soon after neos blew up. and lets not forget the $10 million fraud settlement faiman made with neos investors

What say you now..will this same poster soon reappear to defend his chairman? Sunday papers just published revealing stories about faiman being sued for fraud by investors and betraying his former oakado business partners and lifelong friends

"When you're buying nonproductive assets, all you're counting on is the next person is going to pay more because they're even more excited about another next person coming along," Buffett said on CNBC's "Squawk Box" from Omaha, following Berkshire's annual shareholder meeting.

Bill Gates weighed in, "If you're not producing anything you shouldn't expect it to go up. It's kind of a pure 'greater fool theory' type of investment."

there seems to be some confusion and mix-up of management old neos before 2016..( so called legacy ceo, cmo, cto, etc etc) and the new investor " johnny come lately" and his 1 man team, who lost 10 mil. with fake promises and marketing smoke-n-mirrors made by the original management. Who do you blame? The guys who were running Neos since 2010.. or...!!.. Let us get real .. Stop blaming the messengers of 10 mil in the hole " losers" who fed a dead horse for more than one year . Real culprits are the EXIONIANS and their stooges who played quartet to the employees since 2010 while Neos is sinking .

Ironic that NEOS management is complaining about callousness towards others. After all the lies and bad behavior they exhibited towards employees, customers, vendors and partners, they should have thicker skin.

What r u a librarian trying to shush us? Deception and anonymity are key elemnts of the neos culture u built. Who can forget our chairmens' bbc/Rueters interviews stating he just raised $150 million when the actual number was $10m. We allso loved our cfos' ongoing evasivness in all hanz calls regarding who the supposed investers were in our c round, bridge loans or infamous caymens islands bond. Seems like this emailor should be promoted into managment and be given a big stock award

Easy to fix.

On the email thing, if there is a threat, file a report with the email provider they will disclose who opened it. They will give you the ip address and you can file with the ISP to get the identity.

Also, look at the rules here on layoffs dot com - if there are threats, the site says it'll cooperate with the authorities. So, you file a report, a subpoena gets issued and you should be able to find out who did it.

I call bull on this story. Police takes threats and identity frauds seriously, and mail services and internet providers cooperate in such cases, giving the police all info needed to positively identify that person. It’s a common knowledge, so I think our legal team would know that too.

This forum has nothing to do with belittling the colleagues /employees, but only expression of frustration. From the content and language of this post, sounds like it is from some one in Management, who still refuses to take responsibility for their incompetence and destroyed the careers of several professionals who had the misfortune to get associated with the management and instead blame the employees( current or ex-) for sounding out their feelings . . what is so legal about missed paychecks, not paying contractors, expense claims, unpaid bills etc.etc. .. Loyalty is not one way traffic, it goes both ways. Accountability !!!! Ask the investors who believed in the management and lost their shirt.
