The people that this company great are no longer there...either retired or RIF’d. It’s not the same company that it was 3 to 5 years ago. Before long, CHK will be a bigger company than Devon. That is a failure of leadership.
Wiping $3B in Market Cap off the table is deserving of at least $13M. They had to get that out before tying Executive comp to performance since it only goes down from here.
Bah. This is nothing new.
