DeVry has been looking for real estate to relocate the Chicago Campbell campus and get out of the building with CCN that Adtalem owns. They want to relocate near an L station for better accessibility for students. This will be an absolute mess trying to relocate that campus. DeVry has been at that location since it opened! You heard the rumor that Cogswell wants DeVry out of all Adtalem buildings. Well this might be the start of it. Get your degree for free at DeVry and then get out!!

Don’t you think we are trying? I’ve been on the market for three years and I can tell you that higher ed faculty is a dying profession. We are being replaced with adjuncts and canned courses everywhere. There is rampant age discrimination, anti-For Profit bias, and just a lack of positions in general. If you’re so smart create jobs and hire DeVry folks away. But you won’t. You can’t. You have no power except hiding behind a keyboard and called my names. Wow! @SSOK1Lj-6jkh, at this point, I think it's more likely that we'll move operations TO those centers, since they are not owned by Adtalem and are not shared with Adtalem institutions. They're working to separate DVU from ATGE in every way, and those spaces could be a convenient place for us to rot while we await doomsday.

Are they ever going to close these centers that never have any classes in them? What a joke to even keep them open.
If DeVry moves out of Chicago Campus what is going to happen to the Advantage Academy? DUAA is easy money. As long as CPS is paying to send students through the program, I think DeVry will continue collecting the money and pushing the kids through.
The DVU in Pomona, CA will be relocating as well. No idea if Carrington is going to stay in that building or not.
