Update on LodiTo: All Corporate and ATS East Employees Outside Lodi
As you may know, the National Labor Relations Board conducted an election at our facilities in Lodi, New Jersey on April 19, 2018 amongst the field service and replenishment technicians. There were 33 votes in favor of representation by the union (IBEW Local 827) compared to 23 votes for non-representation out of the population that voted.
We are disappointed by this outcome. We continue to believe that a direct relationship with management remains in the best interest of our employees and the Company.
ATS is still a new Company—in existence for just a year and while there are things we are still working on this is a time of tremendous opportunity and growth for our company. We have already achieved a lot:
We’ve launched and are supporting AUSA’s fiber to the home initiative which offers increased learning and advancement opportunities.
In Q-2 the fiber to the home install initiative will be commencing with new and additional opportunities to expand core competencies and to work with cutting edge technologies.
We are supporting the Sprint project to increase the depth and reliability of Sprint’s network by adding Sprint antenna’s on AUSA’s network.
We are part of the technological advancement of our entire industry working on the “Generation Gigaspeed” initiative with AUSA.
The Company is poised for growth and we have achieved all this without the involvement of an outside third-party like a union. We believe that a direct relationship with our employees promotes an environment of trust, respect and collaboration that is beneficial for our employees and for management. We will however, honor the decision of our Lodi field service and replenishment technicians and bargain in good faith with the union and continue to keep ATS moving forward.
As always, we will keep you informed of any developments.
Best Regards,

Management is basically telling us in this email that we all need to unionize ASAP.
There will be more letters. You should grow some and show up next time we meet. Lodi Oakland and Brooklyn are just small pieces of the puzzle.
When in Q2 are we installing, you guys think we are prepared?
No more letters coming !!!! Guys left have no balls !!!!!
Looking forward to similar letters from Newark, Morris, Rockland, Piscataway, and Hawthorne. Maybe the next letter they will be truthful to the reasons why this is happening.
I cant wait to hear the verbal gymnastics at the next town hall meetings.
