Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

The hammer came down today

We are being asked to cut more hours from our already gutted areas. I sent my entire Cap team home early. Other ASMs are offering extra days off to their associates even when it means no coverage.

Once the process is in place, and there's anything resembling staffing, that's fine. Not now. We were so intent on watching payroll that we have under trained associates, including myself, trying to supervise and learn what the associates we supervise, do. I would much prefer enough people to meet these high expectations than have a big myshare. Blasphemy, isn't it?

It’s the end of the quarter. Payroll is where you can make the biggest impact quick.
