STANDBY AND CALLOUT POLICY REVISION April 2018

STANDBY DESCRIPTION CHANGE

  • Effective 4/14/18, HV-CT Field Service will be eliminating standby in the entire region. OSP will resume the responsibility on 4/14/18. OSP will respond to all critical work after normal business hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Standby will be dispatched to the OSP department after normal business hours in all depots.

  • Standby for purposes of this is work coming in after will start at 8pm and end at 7:30am daily with the exception of holidays (Holidays will be considered all-day coverage)

  • Prior to deploying the standby tech: Dispatch/ROC and the OSP standby supervisor will validate that the job meets a critical criteria such as: C-Level escalation / Down line creating a safety hazard / Commercial account with all services out

  • OSP will work with contractors as needed during contractor work hours normally until 9 PM when there is an influx of work to ensure SLA’s and customer commitments are met.

  • The ATS management team will closely monitor the transition and make any necessary changes to improve the process.
