IBM reduced its workforce by 94 employees in Dubuque in the final 11 months of 2017, according to a
report submitted to the City of Dubuque last week.
The international tech giant employed 405 workers in Dubuque as of Jan. 1, a drop of 19 percent since
Feb. 1, 2017. Reached by the Telegraph Herald this week, the company would not disclose the size of
its workforce in Dubuque currently.
And it will only continue dropping.
So does IBM now no longer qualify for the tax incentives they received from the city/county/state?
