Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Break the veil of exit agreements

Is there a possibility that someone can break the veil of exit agreements that required no legal action (or only via arbitration)?

Could this be applied to one who left "voluntarily" after being given an RA notice? Especially given the ProPublica findings of (possible) criminal behavior?

When I check in on recently updated posts and the only update is "ibmsux" it pisses me off. You are wasting my time. Can't you just STOP?

I left voluntarily and was not asked to sign anything. Just enter last day and choice of reason in workday.

If you voluntarily exited then you are out of luck.

According to a lawyer that I spoke with , if it is found that IBM is proven to layoff or force retirement based on age on a large number of employees, the arbitration clause will not be able to be enforced. We can all then join a class action lawsuit.
