Has anyone from the 3/23/18 Layoff actually received their payout?
Most companies will payout their Severance agreements within 24 hours of signatures... however TD has yet to provide payout on the signed Severance agreements. Since Severance Payments are considered "optional", there are no laws or mandates to regulate the timing of these agreement payouts.
Considering the layoffs took place almost a month ago, it seems like an unusual practice that future layoffs might want to understand and consider.
