The reluctance to give employees any sort of timeline or additional information is seriously weakening employee perception of management as an effectual body with an actual plan. It is impossible to give any sort of real effort at work with this uncertainty hanging looming in the background. If transparency is truly sought, information needs to be provided.

Are you going to let the experience define you or are you going to define the experience
So much for being transparent, nothing but BS.
prob just bs, but I heard one or more of coachs buddies need to get 1000 hours service time in 2018 to get another year credit for their pension, might as well get all that stock vested also. they were going to retire anyway but what the heck let's give some a seven figure parting gift.
assuming 240 hours carried over, need 760 hours or 19 weeks. So, you can relax until after May 11?
or maybe they just let that guy be a zombie for a few weeks and you get laid off today.
perception is not reality.
everyday my manager remind us to plow ahead as if there are no layoffs. he's acting like everything is normal and asking for progress reports and updates... zero acknowledgement of the effects of uncertainties and layoffs. I'm sure they teach that in the Devon leadership courses that he displays all over his wall. they're treating us like cows before the slaughter.
