Did Execs such as VPs, Sr Directors, etc. who got the boot receive their notifications last week? Serious replies only please.

I am a mananger there is an engineer and Sr engineer under me got notice , this is ridiculous not sure what Qualcomm going to save by sacking engineers or Sr engineers where as they have two VPs for MST , they should have sacked one of the VPs .
From my team they mostly sacked Sr staff .
Qualcomn became a gutter company , imagine the people who are not sacked how motivated they would be to work and perform , this is the perfect opportunity for companies like Intel or mediatek to move forward as the employees of Qualcomn are extremely demotivated
I don’t think there are many directors or vps. It’s mostly engineers not even sr. Staff or staff.
I’m a senior director and got my notice yesterday. Same as others. May 4 with June 19 term date
