I have a unique slant on this as a former UOP employee where I was hired for enrollment and worked there for 2 years before being laid off due to low performance, but I remember in staff meetings your stats would be put up for all to see which was an embarassment for those of us who were not making goals. After 6 months I was hired back but this time for admissions and records where I worked for 10 months. The other slant is that I am a graduate of Liberty's education by extension, back then it was all done by video tape and exams would be administered by a proctor. This was before online came on the scene. When I read the NY Times article recently about Liberty's online program, my first thought was boy that sounds exactly like UOP and their enrollment department. I hope that Liberty does not go the way of UOP. I checked and found out there is a Liberty University Layoff site like this one, and I asked what is the salary for their online admissions reps and they said $30K per year. They have had a dip in enrollment so that they can no longer say they are the largest Christian university, that distinction now goes to GCU.

LU also spent $16K on their child friendly candidate Roy Moore.

Jerry Falwell Jr. is one scary a-- nut job.

If this were Nazi Germany (and sometimes I wonder), he'd be Hitler's chaplain.
