Word is tomorrow several markets in my area are planning a new round calibrations for ASMs. Anyone heard the reason behind this?

This has been the plan. They will not layoff ASM’s. They will fire them.
When Walmart Co-Managers took ASM jobs, Walmart said it was over staffing ASM’s for future .com growth.
Actually. No. It was to have a cushion for termination of 1/2 of the ASM’s
Walmart plans to have 80% total business to be .com in the next 4 years.
All automation improvements they have made they have said it won’t effect staffing.
Every single time they have lied
Self checkouts-less cashiers
Back office automation- fired associate
Cash office machine-fired associates this week
Automated shelf scan robots- will terminate 1/2 dept managers within 2 years
Those of you who are still with them. It is coming to most of you. If you have worked for them a long time, and make a lot.

Where are they getting these asm from? I blame the mrkt hr is why the stores are the way they are. Let the store mngr make their own selections that's where the company went wrong. Unqualified candidates being picked what does the mrkt hr know about what these store needs. My guess to clean up what the hr made a mess of.
