since December, the whole direction of the company is causing me to have continuous stress. do i have job or should i start looking? i have a feeling that ....no one will say anything and we will be standing there with nothing. just tell us......really tell us the truth, nothing but lies and manipulation from management. keep that pipeline full, regarding of the student's condition at this point!

I started in 2015 making necessary arrangements for my departure from DeVry...it can be done when it must be done.
Yes indeed! Started a serious job search right after Adtalem threw DeVry in the dumpster. Just accepted a conditional offer and I'm a finalist for another position. I've secured the future. Will do the bare minimum at DeVry until new job starts. F U DeVry!
Once we had the town hall about Cogswell buying DeVry, I began looking. The overall feeling I got from the meeting was "don't count on having a job a year from now". Anyone who repeatedly says they're "excited" about this deal is actually feeling the opposite. I got a new job recently and my stress level has gone down significantly....job security can really do that to you. Start looking for a job NOW, you'll be happy you did when this place shuts down in six months.
Students are already not signing up and not coming back to the school. Hence the falling enrollment, falling revenue, and reduction in staff. Students not signing up will just speed up the closure. Your line of thinking is that they want to save this school. I'm thinking they are wanting it done and over with. Guess time will tell.
Our students need to step up and rally to get things turned around, if they want the administration to listen, they should be prepared to refuse to sign up for more classes, until the proper staff changes are made. Campus administrators are bound to listen then. Being passive forces nothing to improve.
The company is in the final stages of collapse and I would be surprised if it survived more than a year from now. The current management is clueless about how to restore operations and the competitors like state schools and private non-profit schools are taking students. DeVry has destroyed its reputation and has outlived its usefulness. It will vanish just like many other companies that could not adapt to change.
You should have been looking a long time ago. Do you realize how many layoffs there have been? The warning signs of trouble have been there for a few years.
If you seriously have to wonder whether you should start looking then you are a a bit clueless. You should have started looking 3 years ago.
