Almost wish they would get it over with, but every day is a little more money and a little more time if there is severance. I hate dreading every time someone calls and says I have a phone call. Everyone is nervous and on pins and needles.

Yep, I just got the axed. I'm surprise with the very, very generous severance so I'm glad it worked out for me with my next job already lined up. Win Win!!

That sounds awful. A toxic work environment such as that can take a toll.
Network with a competitor in your industry or explore something new. Hope it works out for you.
