New self checks pending or already in some srores. So why the need for so many csm? Do you think it's a waste of payroll? Any thoughts

Some of the csm in my store are like dogs pissing to mark their territory. The accounting associate is more knowledgeable than them. Some have heard about acct and don't want someone that knows more than them changing roles to csm and taking their hours. They are telling cashiers and other csm to stop calling the accounting for help sounds like theres intimidation going on. Hope corporate downsize csm.

Wow accounting to part time and csm takes over what type of duties in accounting? Seriously it has to be a trend in other stores they can't audit properly and cant count and they go missing. Mngt scan their hand for them and walk out. So many errors on the recycler trouble shoot report. Guess who fixes that crap....
At times they outnumber the Cashiers,I'm nearly going bind looking at all those Yellow Vest and there talk groups standing around talking while cashiers need help.And also the ASM's seldom seen in our store never answer pages or Address any problems,beyond approachable they also need to follow the parade of CSM's as these cash in the trash flunkies head for door.They are beyond liability's.And the turnover rate for CSM's at our store is enormous,They are young rude to the cashiers don't give brakes and lunches to them when schedule bud don't have any problem getting theres.They need to go.Every day I hear customers moaning and b--ching how bad customer service s---s some going other places in a more relaxed friendly atlasphere with real customer service

The accounting associate is being put to part time and the csm's will take over some of the responsibilities. It's happening in our store starting week 18. Our accounting associate has already been told and is currently looking for something else. We are in central California and a division 1 store. Not sure if that makes a difference.
