Somebody in an old thread posted less than a day ago "Heard more rumors of 1000+ yesterday, unsourced. Change Always..."
I was wondering if anybody here knows if there is any truth to this? Where did the information come from and if there are any more details about it?

direct from an email from the CEO today - 800 people in the coming weeks. no word on who/where.
nah, heard the rumor again, around 800 ppl, slated for 5/15. at least some in sales, not sure where all coming from. management turnover this year is high and awfully hamhanded, so not exactly a surprise.

Not even close to being true. This would a huge percentage of the work force and it would likely require an announcement. There was the annual fiscal year end purging of contractors and sales related positions, but the numbers were more than 1/10 the number originally stated by the OP.
