Please bring an option forward to volunteer. There are a large portion of us who would willingly volunteer

If you volunteer but aren't picked, aren't you on a blacklist of sorts for the rest of your time at the company?
I don’t know what department you’re in but I know several accounting managers have told their groups that volunteering is an Option. I was in your position in 2016- wanted to volunteer but no one had said it was an option, so I thought it was too risky. Then I found out tons of others had done it. If you’re wanting to volunteer, go for it. It’s certainly and option.
All that being said- just because you volunteer, that doesn’t automatically mean you will get chosen.
My boss & I both volunteered in 2016. We were both kept. We both retired in 2017. I think it was cheaper to keep us than fully Vest our stock. Unless they ask for volunteers I would keep quiet & hope you get your wish.

We will leave, it's not a priority for the company to keep talent when they are focused on stock price.
Never will happen. All your high performers will volunteer to get away from the dumb AF EHS "engineers" and Land analyst plugs that work at Devon. And all the dumb AF plugs won't volunteer and Devon is left with the worst people... recipe for disaster!
