What are you talking about? Just because you document your one on one's doesn't mean sh*t. They can lay you off for any reason. ANY reason.

Can't bother with company bullsh*t. I've been recording my one on one meetings just in case I need documentary proof. Tired of he said she said. Maybe I'll never need it but better to have it and not use it rather than need it and not have it.

And not only that, but you get to worry about the back-end layoff, where they exploit the development plan process to try and fire people who don't fight back. Make sure you're documenting all of your achievements, quality, and productivity, and when they put you in the room make it clear that you intend to contact employee relations.

As with any bully, you have to make it as inconvenient as possible.

And while you're at it, make sure you're trying to get out of that dump.
