At least you get a decent package. What is sad for us is the contracters all stay. They could reduce contactors and save money, but they dont

I was told once you are laid off they will not bring you back as a contractor
If you get let go can you come back to do contract work?
I was a consultant then an employee I made much more per month as consultant but as an employee I had Ins 401K and stock so they really save money by keeping consultants. And they can let you go without severance or warning
Contractors are on separate books than regular employees
