Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

What happens to health insurance?

Anybody here knows what happens to your health insurance if you are laid off by Devon? I can handle being laid off, but I can't risk not being covered right now. Can anybody tell me what's the procedure in these situations?

As if I didn't have enough to worry about as it is...

I heard they are laying off on the 30th so they won't have to pay for insurance... Tells you all you need to know about Devon. They keep the worthless SOB's and let the good ones go.

If you work for DVn and spell FrACK with a K then you need to go ahead and quit. It’s people like you who are useless. But but but but yammer and sifter and bpm. Nope. Get out.

They cut you off Devon insurance pretty fast but you can get Cobra coverage to bridge the gap until you can get another job.

You’ll have insurance through the end of whatever month you are laid off in. Just heard the news, Good luck.
