When I joined GED, I honestly had no idea of the depth and breadth of issues in this team. I was inspired by the potential to improve our world.
Over the past 2 years, I've lost confidence in our technology, our leadership, and our ability to execute.
The people I see remaining here are sadly Engineers who either can't find better jobs elsewhere, or Leaders incentivized much differently from the rest of us (have you ever wondered what an EB or SEB makes?)
Let's be serious, if you're in the Valley and working at GED, it's because you applied to the FAANG companies and couldn't get in.
It's tough, but I'd recommend we all start looking for jobs elsewhere. Staying here longer will make future companies wonder why you stayed so long here. When a company goes downhill, the best folks leave first.
