Thread regarding Conduent layoffs

Would you recommend Conduent to your Friends?

Hello people out there, would you recommend Conduent as a workplace for your friends or relatives?

I have checked Glassdoor reviews and the company have 2.5 rating. Your comments here looks brutal.

Is it that Glassdoor is flawed?

Negative - run far far away. Years of re-org, acquisitions, and split-offs and the employee always comes last. Each time more and more already slim benefits are taken away until where we are at today. It doesn't even look like it's rock bottom yet.

I would not recommend that anyone hire on at Conduent for a career position. If you expect temporary work, then you may be okay with working at Conduent. However, even the temporary work is grueling. Conduent is laying employees off and moving work to India and Jamaica. This includes administrators, contact centers, management and directors.

The poster, "Anonymous | Post ID: @SAVuPaC-1jnr" is Exactly Right

They Do Not Care - about the employees or the Clients.

Everything they say is all a lie to cut costs by eliminating anyone

by any means so that the EVIL CEO and his Indian Infosys friends

can get their bonuses before the entire company goes belly up.

The longer any employee stays at this company the more Evil things

they will see happen.

Do whatever you have to in order to get yourself away from this terrible

company. The customers (The Clients) are regarded by upper management

as POS since they lie to them every day but a just a little more careful...

Many clients have it stipulated in the contract with Conduent

that Conduent must not transmit or store their (the client's data) offshore, that it must

remain solely within the U.S., but nevertheless these so called "restricted" client(s) data

is in fact routinely stored, transmitted and accessed by the $5 Indian Slave labor in India

and other places. The company's attitude is "let them sue us". And people you wonder

how someone stole your SSN and all of your information? Companies like Conduent made

it happen through greeed of not wanting to pay competent U.S. Workers.

I would not recommend Conduent to any one unless you are in India or a friend if the CEO. Since he took over the entire focus has been how to make Americans leave the jobs they have had fir decades so ge can backfill with his buddies in India. They are losing money and people like a water bucket with no bottom. Last year they closed sites and hired temote workers. Now they are demanding everyone go work in an office. They do not have adequate work space for all the remote workers and do not care. They want you to quit so Ashook can grow his India empire. This should be illegal. He is trying to slowly turn this US company into an Indian one. Horrible senior leadership

If you're not looking for a career and don't care about stability, you can get a job here. Use it just to get some experience. The CEO is focused on making the RIFs drive the stock price up and that seems to be all that matters. Lots of offshoring to low cost centers (overseas). The benefits are not particularly good and you'll have to wait for a year to get the company match. Get as much as you can in your offer because you won't get a raise.
