Oh, so now there are layoffs, but not until May... hmmm... seems legit. lol.
Here's the deal, you are an "employee at will", which means any of you could be let go at anytime for any reason.
And this goes for any company. You know who gets laid off? chronic complainers and trouble makers.
Do your job and you won't have to worry about being let go. FFS some of you are stupid.
Stop wasting your time....people are on a layoffs board looking for information regarding layoffs but when someone shares information they know is accurate they don't believe anything you say and treat you like they are in high school vs acting like grown ups. Yes still layoffs, they are going to spread them out a week at a time and hit it hard in May and June. It’s a mind game and everyone will jump though hoops and get belittled, mgmt doesn’t care, they will all be losing their jobs as well.
Exactly. Cobra letter could be sent for various reasons. Especially if you changed benefits elections.
Bottom line is no layoffs. Just someone looking to stress out people
Wow, It was just a simple question. I know of people who got COBRA letters. Just strange that it did not go to everyone! I can see there is someone in this thread that needs to be on the RIF list. #hater
Cobra letters were sent to people how had a change in dependents. Like is dependent that has aged out of being able to be on that associates work insurance.

What makes you so sure there are not going to be any?! Trust me no jollies here as this topic does not humor me at all. As the source of this is from internal manglement.

Why would cobra letters be mailed to someone not getting riffed? You would only get a cobra letter if you are actually going to be laid off and with no health insurance.
So if you did receive a cobra letter, safe to say you're on the RIF list.
This company is so inept it is cruel.
Regarding the Cobra letters: Layoffs were originally planned for last week. It was cancelled because of an inaccurate mailing. In part, Cobra letters were mailed to employees that are not part of the RIF (reduction in force). This has resulted in mass confusion and unnecessary angst.
