There was a large layoff in South America in Colombia for Services Sales. This took place a few weeks ago and was poorly covered by the media. It's all rosy on the surface but in reality, layoffs like this are happening all the time. Now you can argue that SAP has reached a certain size where layoffs will be happening all the time (and hiring will be happening all the time) but this is different - I think our sales capability will be 1000% different in a few years.

This is true my wife was laid off in Columbia.
SHE loved the work and was very sad when they told her to leave.
