Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Clueless Management

I spent 25 years there until the kicked me out for being old and making too much money -

The new generation of management is clueless. It used to be about the client, you know they people that bay the bills.

Now it's about the process even if it screws the client, as long as the process is followed. If you dare to bypass procedure even if it helps keep a client happy you will be in deep trouble and likely soon to be looking for a job.

I know some 35 - 40 great former ADP associates who were hard working ,loyal and bent over backwards for ADP because it was a big family. Josh Weston made it that way....you loved going to work there.........now those people's lives are in ruins....they are over 55, cannot find work or are working for less than half they were making at ADP. I know some who are so upset they just don't know what to do......stay in NJ....move out of state....start using their 401k plans to pay the billls, sell their homes, etc. etc. It really hurts for all......ADP I tell you this....' WHAT GOES AROUND , COMES AROUND'....

It's easy to see what is going on from the client end as well. It is obvious that the old, experienced employees are mostly gone, and new, poorly trained people haved taken their place.

The most important things ADP offers are tax withholding and customer service. And without good customer service, you can't be sure you are doing your tax withholding right.

Typical story of an egomaniac ruining a company.
